NO - Not for me. Lists just confuse the heck out of me and clutter my office! So I make my lists in my head and somehow am able to keep it all straight and orderly - most of the time.

I've a husband who loves lists, a best friend who'd lose her mind if she couldn't find her list and a mother who will make a note on her calendar of my own upcoming activities, and I'm a grown woman!  Comically speaking and all in good humor of course. But I find that most people receive satisfaction in being able to see all their check marks down the row of their daily accomplishments. It's kinda like those check marks are works of art with this mark pointing one way and that mark pointing another.

When ever I had or have made a list somehow I never seem to get past the first bullet point due to not liking the position of it on the page. THen if I do get past that I will have misspelled a word or if I've gotten even farther I've realized that the task is not in chronological order so I crumble the paper and start again. After three of four times of this I realize that my time has been wasted so I give up and just keep it in my head. You may be thinking at this point, "why don't you  just make a note on your iphone or ipad?" Well that's another story for a different day.

All in all this ties into my are making. You see if I was making a list well then I'd never get to making my art. This is where I get satisfaction, in marking making with all those interesting lines and squiggles to completing the tasks in my day. It really is like checking off my list.

Enjoy your day, I know I will. :)
